Children’s Tylenol Added to Expanded Recall

January 15, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports by Tylenol injury attorneys, Johnson & Johnson have expanded the recall to include Children’s Tylenol.

The recall includes some batches of both regular and extra strength Children’s Tylenol, Children’s Motrin, eight hour Tylenol, Tylenol P.M., Tylenol Arthritis, Motrin IB, Benadryl and Rolaids. There were also batches of Simply Sleep and St. Joseph’s aspirin. The recall also includes the Tylenol Arthritis Caplets according to reports.

The over the counter medications were recalled for a second time in less than a month, due to a moldy odor that is being stated as making users sick.

San Francisco Woman Struck and Killed Crossing Highway

January 8, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) according to reports, a San Francisco woman was killed on January 8, 2010, while crossing a highway in the city.

According to authorities the accident occurred in the westbound lane of Sloat Boulevard in the southwestern part of the city at approximately 6:20 PM. Zhu was struck by a Toyota Corolla to buy a 68 year-old man, while crossing the six lane road that is not equipped with a traffic signal.

Zhu was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later and the driver of the Corolla was not charged in the incident that is still under investigation.  If you witnessed this pedestrian accident, you are encourage to contact law enforcement.

Unlicensed Teen Driver Involved in Fatal Oakland Crash

January 2, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to an Oakland accident attorney, authorities a teen driver was involved in a fatal car crash while driving without a valid license.

The driver a 17 year old according to police was speeding in a stolen car at the time of the crash and has been identified by relatives as Chinook Bacon of Oakland.

Bacon was driving a stolen Toyota Camry when he sped through a stop sign and was spotted by Oakland police officers, according to Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason. The Camry then collided on 62nd Avenue and Foothill Boulevard with a white Saturn.

The driver of the Saturn identified as 66 year old Barbara Mitchell of Oakland sustained major internal injuries and died a short time later according to Thomason. Mitchell’s 45 year old passenger sustained moderate to major injuries in the collision. The passenger’s identity has not been released.

Bacon was arrested on suspicion of murder, and other charges according to Oakland police spokesman Thomason.  Passengers in the stolen Camry included an 18 year old that was arrested after admitting he knew he was riding in a stolen vehicle. Another passenger a 14 year old was taken into custody in connection with multiple charges and, an adult male sustained moderate injuries during the crash and was arrested at the hospital.
